ID: I13 Title: Round Temple of Foro Boario, Rome, Italy.
Period of construction: I Century A.C
Structural type: Block structure
Chronology of intervention:
-XIIth century: Restoration in lunense marble at the age of Tiberio;
-Recent interventions: Archaeological Authority of Rome.
Type of interventions:
-Recent consolidation realised with elements put outside of the monument; the intervention shows the validity of a removable traditional system.

Description of the interventions:
-Recent interventions:
Planning and put in work of special metal rings for the consolidation of some columns of the peristasi (part of the church between the baluster and the altar), together with inlays of traditional type to guarantee the solidity of the whole structure.
Using special machinery it was possible the reintegration, in situ, of stone elements without dismantling the structure (an example of similar experiences was made by Manolis Korres at the Parthenon).
News:
Instead of a traditional “clamping” of the rings on the columns shaft it was realised a ringing “by swelling”, thanks to the mortar injected by pressure between the ring and the shaft so to assure a distribution more uniform of the pressures.
