ID: G9 Title: Moni Kaisarianis Church, Athens, Greece.  
Period of construction: 11th century
Structural type: masonry structure (natural stones, bricks, marble and mortar)
Chronology of intervention:
17th century: Addition of new parts
19th century: Addition of new parts
1952: Restoration project begins
1958: Excavation
Description of previous interventions:
17th century: Construction of the narthex.
19th century: Construction of the bell tower.
1952: Initiation of restoration works undertaken by Philodassiki Enosi Athinon in cooperation with the Archaelogical Department.
1958: Excavation revealed the ruins of a basilica of 6th century, under the ruins of a basilica of 10th century.
1981: Damage caused by earthquake at the Bath House and the Kitchen. Restoration works started afterwards for the repair of damage.
1999: Restoration works have been interrupted due to an earthquake.
